  1. Lisa Said,

    I can't help it… It's totally impractical, but…I want it!!!! ^_^

  2. Emily Said,

    Awww! Love it!! :)

  3. Rune Said,

An important question to ask before buying this should be, is it analog or digital? It's probably analog NTSC, since Japan doesn't switch to digital until 2011. If so, it can be used in these countries until they switch off the analog signals. If digital, most of South America will be able to use it. But as I mentioned before, with Japan not switching to digital until 2011, it's most probably analog.

  4. kirin Said,

No, it's digital. You can find the letter "ISDB-T" in the spec chart of the product from the company URL, which stands for "Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting-Terrestrial".

In Japan it actually means that analog broadcasting is completely off by July 2011, but digital is already introduced. If you buy a new TV set now, it's usually digital. I've been watching TV by digital broadcasting for over 3 years already.

  5. cin Said,

it's so cute!! i won't need it though XD

  6. Rune Said,

OK, didn't know that, thanks for telling me, Kirin-san. We turned off our analog signal here in these parts earlier this year. So, the TV is usable in Japan and large parts of South America, then.

  7. Troo Said,

So very tempting… But sooooo very expensive!

  8. Pretzel Said,

My friend would want it so much !! XD

  9. gantaro Said,

lol, I guess I should have already expected that there should be such a device. It is very cute. I wonder if it is selling well? I know that many people here watch TV through their keitai now. ^^

  10. kirin Said,

Good point! Many people watch TV on small cellphone screen, so how come portable TV that still has such a small screen?

  11. exotic_japan Said,

I guess they like this Hello Kitty TV because of the cuteness compared to the technology :-)

  12. kirin Said,

^ _ ^ That's right~. haha! Your Gravator icon with your wife looks cute.

  13. Thomas Gantz Said,

Thanks! I made those using illustration software. My wife, Sakie, and I are on our way to Akikhabara now to visit a maid cafe together with Sara Mari, since neither of them have been to a maid cafe before and wanted to visit one while Sara is in Japan. I visited one a few months ago and posted photos of my visit on my blog,http://exotic-japan.com You can find that post on there a few back if you want to look.

We’re running late to meet Sara since Sakie was hurrying to finish a bracelet to give her. Sakie makes jewelry to sell and my most recent post on the blog shows that bracelet.

I hope you have a fun Sunday.

    Tom
