Kawaii 300yen shop

author Posted by: kirin on date Mar 6th, 2010 | filed Filed under: Kawaii Shop, My Kawaii

Some time ago I introduced kawaii 100 yen shops in Japan. Today I’d like to introduce you some of kawaii 300 yen shops in Japan. 100yen goods will be limited, but 300yen allows us more variety of goods to choose from, and they are all so cute and useful but they don’t look cheap.

3COINS
I think they are most well-known 300yen shop in Japan. They have many branch stores in Japan. Of course I’ve shopped there from time to time. (After all it’s 315yen, including consumption tax.)

CouCou
There are not many CouCou stores, but I’ve been to the one in Daikanyama and found it so kawaii!

Zoom in picture…it looks fun, isn’t it?

Inside picture…so many cute stuff for all 300 yen each.

YouYou
It seems they don’t have a store/company website. I’ve been to the one in Shinjuku.

Mikazuki Momoko
I’ve never been to Mikazuki Momoko store yet as their stores are not in my area. But they look nice from their website. icon wink Kawaii 300yen shop

If you have only been to Daiso to seek 100 yen goods, or to Tokyu Hands or LOFT for more expensive goods, try 300yen shop!

  1. Mary Said,

    OMG! SO CUte!

  2. William Said,

Looks like a cool shop to go to.

  3. Wab Said,

I love CouCou, it's so cute! Their umbrellas are amazing – they come in something like 7 different colors, have cute polka dotted frills, and are extremely sturdy. People always compliment me on it back in boring-umbrella-ville America.^^

  4. Dutchie Said,

    Hi Kirin,

I just came across a site that might interest u. The Kawaii sweets r so so cute :-) See them at http://www.from-japan-with-love.blogspot.com.

Would u consider 20,000 yen stay at the onsen hotel expensive as written in this blog ?

  5. kirin Said,

Well it depends. If you have a private onsen in your room, 20,000yen per night per person is OK. (Be careful in Japan, price is per night per person, not per room!)

  6. Emily Said,

Thanks for the wonderful posts about the shops! I'd love to see stuff like that where I live :D

I have a suggestion for your site:
Have a MyKawaii section where users (like me and everyone else that enjoys your blog) submit their kawaii art, cell phone deco, just whatever kawaii! What do you think?

    Cheers!

  7. kirin Said,

Such a good idea, Emily!! The problem is how I can do that technically…I really like your idea. Should I use flickr group?…hmmm(@_@)?? Let me think how I can do that….because your suggestion sounds so nice.

  8. n a n d a Said,

    We have Daiso here and i was like so happy even though after being converted to Rp. its actually not that cheap anymore ^ ^;
But i think he stuffs theyre selling there is not all kawaii :( Some are, but not all. Mainly its home appliances & stuffs.
Those 300 yen stores looks like fun!!! ♥ I noticed many school girls in pic #1 lol :D

  9. kirin Said,

Ah, that's true, things in your country would cost much cheaper than 100yen shop products + imported tax or handling charges.

  10. Kyuketsuki Said,

Where are these shops located I'm going in a week…I hope you are able to respond by then. I will try googling it myself, wish me luck!

  11. kirin Said,

There are so many 300yen shops. http://www.3coins.jp/shoplist/shoplist.php?area=e

Please let your friends know this blog. I hear from people who say the same things as you do. I am trying to update this blog every other day, but still it takes much time to be found by more people. :)

  14. Jaslyn Said,

I love CouCou! I been to the one in Jiyougaoka.. I'm making a trip to Tokyo this time round, I'm gonna visit the one at Daikanyama! Hehe.

Anyway, do you have the exact address for YouYou?

  15. kirin Said,

I looked for the address of YouYou when I made this post but I couldn't find it. :(
It's somewhere near Don Quijote Shinjuku. You stand at the entrance of Don Quijote, see the Don Quijote at the right side and keep walking, and you'll see YouYou. In other words, it's several stores next to Donki.
    Hope this makes sense to you. ^ ^;
