I know I was surprised to hear someone from the U.S said they would be told "Grow up!" if they like kawaii things as they get old. Such thing is unbelievable to Japanese people. Kawaii for adults creates a big market because there is needs!

cute!! I love cute rainwear. I never wear rainboots or raincoat either, but seeing the cute ones in Taiwan makes me think it is ok to wear it! I am sad that in USA there is not cute raingear in big girl sizes… only for small small children That is too sad!
