I guess so. Many Japanese can't live abroad if they don't have Japanese food there. Especially their famous natto!

I know what you mean. That's why I remember how strange I felt when I first had evian or contrex or whatever mineral water that are from Europe, which was totally different from mineral water from Mt. Fuji, for example. That's a story of difference on drinking water. When it comes to tap water, I think that too much chlorine is put in it by our waterworks department.

Oh you liked Japanese way of bathing! I think it's good for our health, too. :) Actually Japanese-styled bath and Japanese foods are 2 major things I miss badly when I live in other countries.

Just one thing to say is that Japanese water is different than the one in other countries. I really felt a difference at least. I can't forget the o-furo before going to bed. They were definitely the best! In the cold winter... once I got off the furo I was very aka-iro... because I'm white and I have difficulties going into hot bath like the Japanese one.

In Japan, most of us take a bath at night before going to bed, and I think this is good to help us sleep well. I LOVE bathing so much, and I start to feel very sleepy even while bathing. Sometimes I fall asleep in a bath tab, which is considered dangerous though...

Ah! I know how she feels : you get tired , you lie down and BOING, you're wide awake.
A nice warm shower helps or a nice warm bath.
Sometimes I fall asleep before I get to bed. Oh yeah!
2 o'clock in the morning and you wake up sitting in front of the tv and your neck is stiff and your back hurts and you drag yourself to bed to try to sleep for a few more hours. Haha! And then I fall asleep in the afternoon at work ( usually during a meeting ).
I wonder what Ruby's mother's easiest suggestion is ?
